Performances

Got your foundation and want to perform? We got you.
Throughout the school year, we have many opportunities to hit the stage:
Intro Showcase: A kickoff exhibition of all our dance styles at the start of each semester
Event Performances: Performing at major CMU events like Lunar Gala, Spring Carnival, and more
Step Up: Our end-of-year exhibition crew battle on campus
DS: A club piece for show on CMU's biggest dance event Dancer's Symposium

Freestyle & battle opportunities

Freestyle is at the heart of CMU Street Styles.
We host and join battles to give our dancers a chance to exhibit talent, express themselves, and connect through dance:
Styles Street: Our mini battle series for all levels
BattleZone: CMU Street Styles' annual battle attracting dancers across East U.S.
External Jams: We often go to local and nearby battles together as a club to vibe, compete, and represent
